A Joy and a Blessing, Liz Penner

I was born and raised in Belize, Central America, in a Christian home with dear parents who loved the Lord. I am 22 years old and studied math and computer science in college. Growing up, I visited many local churches in many parts of Canada, the United States and Central America. At a young age I began reading books by Watchman Nee and Witness Lee as well as The New Testament Recovery Version of the Bible. I really appreciate these books and the enlightening words these brothers have to share. The New Testament Recovery Version has really helped me in my understanding and enjoyment of the pure Word of the Bible.

Reading this ministry has saved me (and still is) from so many things in this corrupt world. A very important thing I am seeing more and more is how I need to contact the Lord moment by moment during my daily life. Just by calling on His name and turning to my human spirit within me to contact the Lord is such a wonderful thing (Romans 10:12-13; John 4:24). To have such a relationship with the Lord has been a great salvation to me.

Another thing that has touched me is the care of the members of the Body. The brothers' and sisters' love for the Lord in caring and reaching out to me and their love for me has been such a cherishing and nourishing.

In this place I am truly satisfied. I have never been happier than when finishing a meeting with my spirit exercised. This place makes me genuinely happy, overflowing with life and joy!!
